Physics Teachers NYC – AP Physics B&C

AP Physics B is undergoing a major redesign. The implementation of the new approach is expected to occur by 2015. Mr. Hernandez will outline the latest developments in Physics B as well as some of the specific changes being proposed for the AP Physics C exam. Participants will perform an activity (via the modeling approach) that is likely to be used as a pattern for lab questions in future AP exams. There will also be an opportunity to discuss approaches to teaching AP Physics and  to share specific teaching ideas. Mr. Hernandez will share insights on test development and the scoring of AP Exams; he will also provide participants with access to all the written materials he uses in his summer AP Institutes.
